The Arquin Rieder family is versatile, unconventional, spirited, colourful and lovable. No two days with them are the same. They talk a lot and laugh out loud, navigate challenges and develop new ideas, work hard, jump into the pool, relax, and sunbathe.
What unites these fundamentally different individuals is their shared sense of enjoyment, their flair for quality, and their zest for life: they all live it to the fullest. Their interactions, both with each other and with others, are always genuine, humorous, and full of passion.
Stefanie
the Doer.
Nothing runs at Camping Tisens without Stefanie. She is the driving force behind everything, the tireless thinker and doer who keeps an eye on the big picture and the countless details. Questions, problems, challenges? Everything ends up with her. A few years ago, she took over the management of the campsite from her parents and has been developing it with skill and dedication ever since. Stefanie is known for her stoic composure, humour, and spontaneous impulsiveness. She can climb the highest mountain in South Tyrol and still be found at the Reception desk the same evening. Will Steffi ever find peace and quiet? She does when she spends time with her son Alex, swims her daily laps in the pool, mountain bikes through the surrounding forests, or enjoys relaxed evenings at the restaurant with her partner Christian.
Christian
the All-Rounder.
Christian is a true jack-of-all-trades. His interests are wide-ranging, and he possesses a wealth of knowledge, always ready to share a story or a joke. He brings a sense of humor to every day, never missing a chance for a light-hearted remark. A whirlwind of activity, he moves seamlessly from mowing the lawn to tending bar, then zips off on his Vespa to run errands. Christian is also deeply empathetic, sensitive, and has a huge heart. His willingness to help others unconditionally is one of his defining traits. Will Christian ever find peace? He does when he spends time with his son Alex, takes a dip in a nearby secret natural pond, or enjoys relaxed evenings at the restaurant with his partner Stefanie.
Willi & Burgi
THE FOUNDERS.
In the early 70s, Willi and his brother Toni established one of the first campsites in South Tyrol, located in Lana, and managed it together for many years. Over time, Willi developed a deep desire to create something of his own – a campsite for himself and his family. For years, he searched for the perfect spot until he finally found it in Tesimo. He often told his guests from Lana, with true visionary flair: “One day, my place will be up there.“ And so, the rest is history. After overcoming countless challenges, Willy built his dream in 2006, and opened it in 2007 with his wife Burgi. Willi had put all his eggs in one basket to realize his lifelong dream. Today, his daughter Stefanie runs Camping Tisens, cherishing Willy’s memory and continuing his legacy.
