As hosts and entrepreneurs, we aim to take responsibility and actively support the development of sustainable tourism. While we acknowledge that we are still far from our goal, we recognize that sustainability is an ongoing process. We have embarked on this journey and would be delighted to have you join us.
Architecture & Construction – Quality for the Future
For us, sustainability begins with longevity. Our entire structure was built to the highest quality standards: using robust materials, timeless design, and sophisticated architecture. What may be more complex and costly during the planning and construction phases proves its worth on many levels over the years and decades.
Garden Maintenance – Utilizing Natural Ressources.
Rainwater is a precious resource for us, collected in a large tank and used to irrigate our green spaces. We minimize the use of chemical pesticides as much as possible.
Green Electricity & Energy – On the Path to Self-Sufficiency
We harness the power of the sun to generate electricity, producing an impressive 75,000 kWh with our photovoltaic system. The 74.5 kWp system covers more than half of our electricity needs. Our pools are gently heated by a solar system, and automatic regulators contribute to the efficient use of energy.

Shop & Gastro – Conscious Product Selection
We are increasingly focusing on regional food with short supply chains and are continuously expanding our selection of organic products. Our latest initiative aims at reducing plastic use. The range in our shop and many other areas has been reorganised. Since 2024, our thermo drinking bottles, featuring the Camping Tisens design, have been available and can be filled with fresh water from any tap.
Cleaning – Environmentally Friendly Care
We use ecologically degradable cleaning agents to minimize our impact on the environment.
Water – Our Most Valuable Resource
We have retrofitted our bathroom and shower taps with adapters that mix air to the water jet, saving 40% of the water volume. Given the recurring water shortages in Tesimo, we kindly ask all our guests to use this vital resource responsibly.
