Car Rental & Taxi Service.

Personalized Transport Options.

For guests who want to explore our diverse region individually and at their own pace, car hire is recommended. Several partner companies offer hire cars, some of which are brought directly to Camping Tisens. We recommend booking your hire car in advance and in good time. If, on the other hand, you are planning a special day trip, an enjoyable dinner or a visit to an event in the area, individual taxi service providers are at your disposal.

Bike.

Bike Transfer, Rental & Information.

Cycling to Merano or Bolzano? The historic centres of Lana, Merano and Bolzano are generally best explored on foot and we do not recommend taking the busy Gampen road into the valley. If you don’t want to miss your bike on excursions or want to start your tour from the Adige Valley, we recommend using the free bike transfer service from Tesimo. Alternatively, you can also hire various types of bikes in Nalles/Nals, Lana or Merano/Meran. Booking in advance is recommended.

(E-)Mountainbike.

Offroad we go.

The hilly landscape of Tisens, Merano and sorroundings offer varied mountain bike routes, some of which are less frequented and extend between 300 and 2,400 metres. Here you will find trails that lead from flowering meadows to alpine huts and impressive peaks. You can explore easy to challenging routes individually or together with the MTB Academy South Tyrol guides – thanks to the mild climate almost all year round. Your hosts Steffi and Christian are also keen mountain bikers and are happy to give you personalised tips.

Day trips.

Highlights, Dolomites, South Tyrol & Bella Italia.

Dare to take a holiday on holiday? Standing amidst the impressive Dolomites, marvelling at the most famous excursion destinations in South Tyrol or even opening the door to the south and suddenly finding yourself on Lake Garda, on the piazza in Verona or on the Grand Canal in Venice? All this is made possible in the most convenient way by local tour operators, such as Tisner Reisen, which offer an attractive programme of day trips. Alternatively, several express trains run daily from Bolzano to Verona or Bologna and back.
